Dry Wine
Sweet Wine
This indicator represents the perceived style from the driest to the sweetest. Sometimes two wines can have the same quantity of residual sugar but taste differently according to the grape used. “A” is the driest like a Muscadet and “E” the sweetest like a Sauternes.
The appellation of Ladoix is one of Burgundy’s less famed gems, even though it is just north of Beaune close to Aloxe-Corton and Pernand-Vergelesses, prime villages of the Côte de Beaune. Ladoix whites tend to have a refreshing minerality about them and Faiveley here has made an excellent wine of really good value.
