Notation
Dry Wine
Sweet Wine
This indicator represents the perceived style from the driest to the sweetest. Sometimes two wines can have the same quantity of residual sugar but taste differently according to the grape used. “A” is the driest like a Muscadet and “E” the sweetest like a Sauternes.
This is a lighter style of white Burgundy from the village of Givry in the Côte Chalonnaise but it has plenty of soft honeyed fruit flavours. Grown on clay and limestone soils, the “terroir” flavours come through on the palate. With an attractive aroma, flavour and long finish, this great value for money wine might be ideal for your lunches.
