Delivery

The products ordered are delivered as indicated by the client. Packages will be delivered to the recipient through our carrier.

The customer is advised to check the conditions of the packaging and the contents of the package on delivery, to approximate the quantity and references delivered on the order. All breakages, damaged or missing products must be clearly stated in writing on delivery to the carrier. Signing the delivery receipt confirms the acceptance of the customer.  The customer is obliged to inform the sender of any damages incurred by the carrier within 48 hours after receiving the package.

If a notice of attempted delivery has been left by the carrier if the recipient is not present, and no response is made within 10 days, the parcel will be returned to sender. If the customer wants to receive the order again, he must pay the return costs which will amount to 10€ per package, as well as the costs of shipping his initial order.  If he wants to be refunded for his order, the costs of return shipping as well as initial order shipping will be deducted from the total of the refunded products. All reductions and costs according to the market place will be considered for reimbursement.

ICI Relais and DPD Exapaq

Delivery to a "ICI RELAIS" point  and to home by "DPD Exapaq" is assured to have :

  • The quality of the premier network in France with more than 5,000 local points, spread out across the whole country and offering longer opening hours.
  • Access to the integrated transport network of DPD Exapaq (in 24/48h), reputed for its quality of service and security: vidéo-following of packages, 7 scanning centres, procedures for securing the packages as well as securing the handling centres.
  • The package is kept up to 9 days in the relay centres.
  • Transparency of information: you have full tracking of your package up to its delivery.  Electronic signature.

Delivery Times

All orders are processed no later than 48 hours after being received. They will be shipped the next business day with a delivery time of 24 to 48 hours.

Except in cases of force majeure, the delivery time will be subject to available stocks.

These periods are exclusive of Saturdays, Sundays and French holidays. All orders will be processed from Monday to Saturday until 12:00, except on French public holidays. This period is guaranteed and can be open to reimbursement in case of non-compliance.

For the standard service, the deliveries are effected Monday to Friday (except bank holidays or exceptionally busy times).

Delays

We will do our best to deliver your shipment within our usual delivery time. However, if we were not able to give you satisfaction, we inform you that under no circumstances can a refund of the product be requested from SARL Wine Consultants and only the delivery service may, with the reservations in the preceding paragraphs, be recoverable.

Circumstances beyond our Control

We cannot be held responsible for loss, damage, errors or failure to deliver a shipment once it is established that there are circumstances beyond our control. By "circumstances beyond our control" this shall mean notably:   

  •    Acts of God or force majeure, including: earthquakes, cyclones, storms, floods, wars, traffic accidents, train and plane, embargoes
  •    Defects or features associated with the nature of the shipment even though they were known to us at the time of our acceptance,
  •    Any act, default or negligence of any third party, for example, the sender, recipient, any interested third party, customs or any employee of any other administration, postal    services, any carrier or other third party to whom the item would be entrusted by our carrier to serve areas not served by itself, and that, even if the sender has not requested or been informed of the use of a third party.


Similarly, we are not responsible for any damage caused by electrical or magnetic phenomena and / or erasure of, electronic or photographic images or recordings.

In case of non compliance with our commitments and for whatever reason, the company SARL Wine Consultants will be required to repay only the delivery service under the conditions set out above (Late Delivery) and in no case any indirect damages that the customer may come to invoke.

Breakages

If a damaged package (breakage of a / some bottles) arrives, the recipient must refuse the package. The carrier is responsible to inform SARL Wine Consultants. On receiving this information, the company SARL Wine Consultants commits to reship an identical package to the recipient immediately.  In any case the customer cannot demand repayment of the product and package delivery.
