This indicator represents the perceived style from the driest to the sweetest. Sometimes two wines can have the same quantity of residual sugar but taste differently according to the grape used. “A” is the driest like a Muscadet and “E” the sweetest like a Sauternes.
From the very good but tiny 2021 harvest, this particular wine comes from the best part of the Premier Cru vineyard of Fourchaume. The wine has plenty of fruit in the mouth with a very long aftertaste - and if kept (!), it should get better and better over the next 10 years.
